Pro and Pro+: bioelectrical impedance

The 4 electrodes pass a very small current through the feet and measure the body's resistance to it, its impedance. The app turns that reading into body fat, muscle and water.

An ESPEN review of bioelectrical impedance analysis describes BIA as a way to estimate fat-free mass and total body water with validated equations.

Lite and BMI: from the weight

Lite has no electrodes. The app works out BMI and the other readings from the weight with the user's height, age and gender.

The World Health Organization classes adults with a BMI of 25 or more as overweight and 30 or more as obese.

Every series comes in 26 × 26 cm (OEM-260) and 28 × 28 cm (OEM-280), both with 5 mm tempered glass. Sellers on Indian marketplaces often choose 26 cm; buyers abroad often prefer 28 cm.

Can I choose the design and the glass colour?

Yes. Lite comes in the X, R and O designs, Pro in R, X and C electrodes and Pro+ in I, R, C and X electrodes. The glass can be made in any colour; try yours in the builder on this page.

How much can it weigh, and how precisely?

Every series weighs up to 180 kg in 100 g steps, in kilograms or pounds, on strain gauge G sensors. It switches on when someone steps on and switches off by itself.

How are the scales packed?

Each scale is packed in full thermocol foam inside its colour box, with 10 pieces to a master carton, for courier and marketplace shipping.

What warranty do private label smart scales carry?

Each smart scale carries a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Omace checks every scale before it is packed.

How long does a private label smart scale order take?

Most orders are ready about 40 days after confirmation, depending on quantity and customisation. Delivery inside India takes another 2–3 days.
