Weighing
- Place the scale on a flat, steady table.
- Touch ON/OFF-TARE to switch on and wait for 0.0 g.
- Put your cup or dripper on the platform and touch ON/OFF-TARE again to zero it.
- Add the coffee and read the weight.
- Touch UNIT to switch between g, oz, lb and ml.
Brewing with the timer
- Touch TIME to start or stop the timer yourself.
- Or touch AUTO, and the timer starts on its own as soon as you begin pouring.
- The left side of the display shows the time and the right side shows the weight.
Care
- Don't put more than 3 kg on the platform.
- It isn't waterproof. Wipe spills right away with a damp cloth; never rinse it.
- Change all 3 AAA batteries together when the low battery sign shows.

What coffee lovers ask before buying the KS-303.
Is 0.1 g precision enough for espresso?
Yes. Espresso recipes are usually written to 0.1 g, such as 18.0 g in and 36.0 g out. The KS-303 reads in 0.1 g steps up to 3 kg.
Can the timer and the weight run at the same time?
Yes. The display shows brew time on the left and weight on the right, so you can track both while you pour.
What does the AUTO key do?
It starts the timer as soon as you begin pouring, so you don’t have to press TIME with a kettle in your hand.
Can I weigh the dripper, server and water together?
Yes. The maximum is 3 kg, enough for all three at once. Place your equipment on the platform, tap ON/OFF-TARE to zero it, then brew. Above 3 kg the display shows an overload warning to protect the load sensor.
Will it fit under my espresso machine?
The scale measures 200 x 150 x 25 mm, with a 145 x 145 mm platform. Measure your machine’s drip tray area before buying, since smaller machines may not have room for it.
Can I use it as a regular kitchen scale?
Yes. With 3 kg capacity, 0.1 g readings and four units, it handles baking ingredients, spices and everyday cooking as well as coffee.
Is it waterproof, and how do I clean it?
