First time
- Charge the built-in battery by plugging the power cord into a 220 V socket.
- Place the scale on a firm, level counter, away from fans and drafts.
- Switch it on with nothing on the pan and wait for it to show 0.
Every day
- To weigh in a tray, bowl or bag, put it on the pan and press TARE. The display goes back to 0.
- Place the goods in the middle of the pan and read the weight once it settles.
Care
- Don't drop goods on the pan or load it past its capacity.
- Wipe the pan with a damp cloth and keep water away from the display and keys.
- Charge it when the low battery sign shows.
- Use it between 10 °C and 40 °C.

Questions buyers ask before choosing a weight machine with pole.
Where is the customer display?
On a pole above the scale, at eye level, so customers can read the weight from across the counter. You read it on the front display.
What is the difference between SPD and SPR?
SPD has a front display and a second display on a pole, with no back display. SPR has displays on the front and the back of the body.
What happens when the power goes off?
It keeps working on its built-in battery. A full charge gives about 2 days of backup, so a power cut does not stop your sales.
Can I weigh in a tray or bag?
Yes. Put the empty tray or bag on, press TARE and the scale goes back to 0. It then shows only what you add.
What is the smallest weight it can show?
20 g. Lighter items may not register.
What if I put too much on it?
The display shows an overload sign. Take the extra weight off to protect the load cell.
