What is the minimum order for private label commercial scales?
The minimum order is 500 pieces per model, with your label, pan sticker and colour box. It is the same for table-top, chicken and platform scales.
Which commercial scales can I put my brand on?
Three families: table-top shop scales from 10 kg to 30 kg (six models, with a back display or a pole display), chicken scales from 60 kg to 300 kg with a guard rail, and platform scales from 100 kg to 3,000 kg with the indicator on a pole.
Can I change the capacity, platform size or weight units?
Yes. Capacity and step, platform size, weight units, the label, the colour box and the packaging can all be made to your order. Omace confirms what is possible for each model with your quote.
Where does my brand go on the scale?
On the front label around the display and keys, printed in your colours, and on a logo sticker on the pan or platform. The colour box and user manual carry your brand too.
Do private label commercial scales need model approval and stamping?
Yes, in India. A weighing scale sold in India needs Legal Metrology model approval (Section 22 of the
Legal Metrology Act 2009), and every private label commercial scale must be verified and stamped by Legal Metrology before it is used to sell goods by weight (Section 24). The stamp is the brand owner's to get. Omace helps you get model approval in your brand's name and can get your scales stamped on your behalf; the Legal Metrology charges are paid by you. Scales for export do not need the Indian stamp.
What happens to the scale in a power cut?
It keeps weighing on its built-in battery for about 2 days. Every model plugs into 220 V, and the auto power saver and standby mode stretch the battery further.
Stainless steel or mild steel: which should I choose?
Stainless steel does not rust, so it suits meat, fish and places that are washed often; choose CK-SS or PS-SS there. Mild steel with a chequered top costs less and is fine for dry goods, sacks and cartons.
Can I see a sample before I order?
Yes. You can order a ready-stock sample of any model, and its cost is adjusted against your bulk order. Before bulk production starts, Omace also makes a branded sample with your label for your approval.
How long does a private label commercial scale order take?
Most orders are ready about 40 days after confirmation, depending on quantity and customisation. Delivery inside India takes another 2–3 days.
What are the payment terms?
Omace works on 50% advance at order confirmation and the remaining 50% before dispatch. Export orders are paid by wire transfer.
What warranty do private label commercial scales carry?
Each scale carries a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Batteries and physical damage are not covered.
Do you ship commercial scales outside India?
Yes. Omace supplies across India and ships export orders EXW or FOB, by sea or by air.
Do you make other private label scales?
Yes. Omace also makes
private label bathroom scales, kitchen scales and smart body scales. See every line on the
private label manufacturing page.
