How to weigh
- Put the scale on a firm, level table away from fans, AC vents and open windows.
- Switch it on and wait until the display shows 0.
- Put an empty tray or paper on the pan if you use one, and press TARE so the display goes back to 0.
- Place the ornament, stone or sample in the middle of the pan and read the weight when the number stops changing.
- Press UNIT to switch between g, ct, tola, oz, gn, dwt and ozt.
Care
- Don't put more than 600 g on the pan, and don't drop anything onto it.
- Keep the scale where it will stay. Moving it to a new table can change the reading, so recheck it with a known weight.
- Wipe the pan and body with a soft dry cloth. Keep water and chemicals away from the keys.
- Run it on the adapter on the counter, or on AAA batteries when you carry it. Take the batteries out if you will not use it for weeks.
- Use it between 10 °C and 40 °C.
