How to weigh
- Put the scale on a firm, level table away from fans, AC vents and open windows.
- Switch it on and wait until the display shows 0.
- Put an empty tray or paper on the pan if you use one, and press TARE so the display goes back to 0.
- Place the ornament, stone or sample in the middle of the pan and read the weight when the number stops changing.
- Press UNIT to switch between grams, carats and tola.
Counting pieces
- Press the counting key and put the number of sample pieces the display asks for on the pan.
- Confirm. The scale now works out the weight of one piece.
- Add the rest. The display shows how many pieces are on the pan.
Care
- Don't put more than 1000 g on the pan, and don't drop anything onto it.
- Keep the scale where it will stay. Moving it to a new table can change the reading, so recheck it with a known weight.
- Wipe the pan and body with a soft dry cloth. Keep water and chemicals away from the keys.
- Run it on the adapter, or on the inbuilt battery during power cuts. Charge the battery fully before a long day without power.
- Use it between 10 °C and 40 °C.
