Connect to the app

1. Install the free SmartApple app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Turn on your phone's Bluetooth and location.
3. Switch on the scale. The app connects by itself; no pairing needed.

How to weigh

1. Put the scale on a flat, firm table.
2. Press ON/TARE and wait for 0.
3. Put your bowl or plate on the platform and press ON/TARE so the display goes back to 0.
4. Add the food and read the weight once the number stops changing.
5. Press UNIT to switch between g, ml, oz and lb:oz.

Weighing more than one ingredient

1. Weigh the first ingredient.
2. Press ON/TARE again. The display goes back to 0.
3. Add the next ingredient. Only the new part is shown.

Care

• Don't put more than 5 kg on the platform, and don't drop things onto it.
• Wipe it with a damp cloth. Never wash it under the tap or put it in water.
• Change the batteries when the low battery sign shows.
• Hang it by its loop to save counter space.
• Use it between 10 °C and 40 °C.
