A 200 kg hanging scale for sacks and produce
A full quintal sack weighs 100 kg, so a 200 kg hanging scale weighs one with plenty of room, or two smaller sacks together. It reads in 50 g steps, fine enough for buying and selling by weight.
- Grain, onion, potato and sugar sacks at the mandi or godown.
- Cotton, jute and scrap bundles.
- Feed and fertiliser bags on the farm.
Both sides can read the weight
- Two green LED displays. You read the front, and the buyer standing on the other side reads the back.
- Tare. Hang the empty sling or bag and press Tare, and it shows only the goods.
- M+ adds each weighing to memory and MR shows the total, so you can weigh a whole lot sack by sack.
- Rechargeable 6 V battery. About 6 hours of charging gives about 24 hours of weighing, and it keeps working on the AC cable.
- Power switch and charging socket on the side. Orange MS body with chrome-plated S hooks on swivel links.

Before first use
- Charge the battery fully. It takes about 6 hours.
- Hang the top hook on a strong beam, tripod or chain pulley that can hold more than 200 kg.
How to weigh
- Switch on with nothing on the bottom hook and wait for 0.
- If you use a sling or rope, hang it empty and press Tare.
- Lift the sack slowly until it is off the ground. Don't drop it onto the hook.
- Wait until it stops swinging, then read the front or the back display.
- For a lot of many sacks, press M+ after each one and MR to see the total.
- Lower the sack to the ground before you unhook it.
Stay safe and keep it accurate
- Never stand under a hanging load.
- Never hang more than 200 kg.
- Check it now and then with a sack already weighed on a platform scale.
- Charge it when the low battery sign shows. If you store it for long, charge it about once a month.
- Keep it dry and wipe it with a dry cloth.
- Use it between 10 °C and 40 °C.

Can it weigh a full quintal sack?
Yes. A 100 kg sack is half its capacity. You can weigh one quintal sack, or two 50 kg sacks together.
Why two displays?
The front faces the person lifting and the back faces the buyer, so both see the same weight without turning the sack.

It reads in 50 g steps across the full 200 kg.
How long does the battery last?
About 24 hours of weighing on a full charge. Charging takes about 6 hours, and it keeps working while plugged in.
