When you need a 500 kg crane scale
Loads between 200 kg and 500 kg are too heavy for a small hanging scale, and a 1 ton scale would read them in coarser steps. This 500 kg crane scale still reads in 50 g steps.

- Rechargeable 6 V battery. About 6 hours of charging gives about 24 hours of weighing, and it keeps working on the AC cable.

Before first use
- Charge the battery fully. It takes about 6 hours.
- Check that your crane, chain pulley or tripod can lift more than 500 kg.
- Hang the top hook on the crane or pulley hook.
How to weigh
- Switch on with nothing on the bottom hook and wait for 0.
- If you use a sling, chain or bin, hang it empty and press Tare.
- Lift slowly until the load is just off the ground. Don't jerk the crane.
- Wait until it stops swinging, then read the display.
- To add up several lifts, press M+ after each one and MR to see the total.
- Lower the load to the ground before you unhook it.
Stay safe and keep it accurate
- Never stand or put your hands under a hanging load.
- Never lift more than 500 kg.
- Check it now and then with a load you know.
- Charge it when the low battery sign shows. If you store it for long, charge it about once a month.
- Keep it dry and wipe it with a dry cloth.
- Use it between 10 °C and 40 °C.
