Before first use
- Fit the S hook to the hook point under the scale.
- Charge the battery fully with the AC adaptor.
- Hang the scale by its steel handle from a strong hook, beam or chain.
How to weigh
- Switch on with nothing on the hook and wait for 0.
- If you use a bag, basket or bucket, hang it empty and press Tare.
- Hang the goods gently. Don't drop them onto the hook.
- Wait until it stops swinging, then read the display.
- Press Mode N/G to see the net or the gross weight.
- To add up several lots, press M+ after each one and MR to see the total.
Keep it accurate
- Never hang more than 50 kg.
- Check it now and then with a sealed packet you know, such as a 1 kg sugar or 5 kg atta pack.
- Don't leave a load hanging on it for hours.
- Charge it when the battery runs low. If you store it for long, charge it about once a month.
- Keep it dry and wipe it with a dry cloth.
- Use it between 10 °C and 40 °C.
