- Place the scale on a flat, steady counter away from fans.
- Switch it on and wait for 0.00.
- If you use a tray or paper, put it on the pan and press tare.
- Lay the gold or silver flat on the pan and read the weight.
- Press mode to switch between g, ct and tola.
Keep it accurate
- Keep loads under 500 g and don't press on the pan.
- Check it now and then with a known weight and calibrate it as the manual shows.
- Replace both AAA batteries together when the low battery sign shows.
