Usage

1. Hang the scale from a strong, fixed support such as a hook, beam or door frame, at a comfortable height.
2. Attach the empty sling to the S-hook at the bottom of the scale.
3. Turn the zero-adjust knob until the needle points exactly at zero.
4. Undress the baby down to a light vest or nappy and place them in the sling, with their legs through the leg holes.
5. Hang the sling on the hook and let go gently. Keep your hands close but not touching.
6. Read the dial at eye level once the needle stops moving.
7. Lift the baby out, then remove the sling.

Precautions and Care

1. Never leave the baby unattended in the sling; keep your hands close at all times.
2. Check the support first. Make sure the hook or beam can safely hold the scale and the baby.
3. Hang it low. Keep the sling just above a soft surface or bed in case of a slip.
4. Zero the needle every time with the empty sling attached before weighing.
5. Do not exceed 25 kg or drop weight suddenly onto the hook, as this strains the spring.
6. Read at eye level to avoid parallax error.
7. Wash the sling regularly with mild soap and let it dry completely before use.
8. Wipe the scale with a dry or slightly damp cloth; do not immerse it in water.
9. Store in a dry place to protect the spring and the dial.
