Usage
- Insert the batteries. Open the battery cover underneath and fit the 3 AAA batteries in the right direction.
- Place it on a flat surface. Use a firm, level table or floor, not a bed or sofa.
- Switch it on. Press the power button and wait for the display to show 0.
- Add a blanket and tare (optional). Lay a soft cloth on the tray and press Tare so the display returns to 0.
- Place the baby gently. Lay the baby in the centre of the curved tray and keep one hand close by.
- Read the weight. Wait for the reading to settle, then note it down. Press the unit button to switch between g, kg and lb.
Precautions and Care
- Never leave the baby unattended on the scale.
- Always use the scale on a flat, stable surface.
- Do not load more than 20 kg.
- Wipe the tray with a soft, damp cloth and mild cleaner. Do not wash it under running water.
- Keep it away from heat, direct sunlight and moisture.
- Remove the batteries if you won’t use it for a long time.
- Replace the batteries when the display dims or shows a low-battery sign.

Small differences between two scales are normal. Clothes, diapers and the time of day also change the weight. For the best comparison, weigh at the same time of day, in similar clothing, on the same scale each time.
- Does the scale need calibration?
