1. Weighing a baby on the tray
- Place the scale on a flat, hard floor and plug it in.
- Fit the tray stand on the platform, switch on and press TARE to zero it.
- Gently lay the baby on the tray and read the weight once the display settles.
2. Weighing an adult
- Remove the tray stand from the platform.
- Switch on and wait for zero.
- Ask the person to stand still in the centre of the platform and read the weight.
3. Weighing mother and child together
- With the tray removed, ask the mother to stand on the platform.
- Once her weight settles, press TARE and the display returns to zero.
- Hand the baby to the mother. The display now shows only the baby’s weight.
Precautions and Care
- Never leave a baby unattended on the tray; always keep one hand near the baby.
- Use a flat, hard surface. Carpets or uneven floors affect accuracy.
- Make sure the tray stand sits squarely on the platform before weighing a baby.
- Do not exceed 200 kg.
- Step on and off gently; avoid dropping weight onto the platform.
- Clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild disinfectant. Do not pour water on the scale or immerse it.
